Do
I need a Terminal to get started?
For most retail establishments a terminal is the preferred system
for credit card acceptance but not always. There are cases when
software or even your telephone might be the right choice for your
business. You don't have to have a terminal to start accepting credit
cards, but a terminal offers some advantages in efficiency and security
in most retail scenarios. We can tell you what method is right for
your business. If you have questions about alternatives give us
a call at 1-800-715-7938. As a general rule, If you have a storefront
where your customers can hand you a card which would be swiped through
a terminal. That is the ideal situation. You would bet the lowest
discount rate which is called retail rate. If you are accepting
card payments over the phone you may use a terminal to key in the
credit card numbers. You can also use software, which can be a less
expensive alternative for small businesses. It is also more efficient
for Mail Order and Internet businesses, but you won't claer your
transactions at the retail rate. A higher rate is assessed by Visa

that don't occur face to face.Statements
